    Manager: Parking and Transport Services

    • The incumbent will report to the Director: Facilities. S/he will manage a pool of vehicles and related fleet management administration. S/he will also develop and manage University wide parking masterplan and parking allocation system.

    Requirements:

    • NQF level 8 qualification in Logistics or Transport Management.
    • At least 8 years’ experience in Transport management services.
    • 3 out of the 8 years should have been at management level.
    • 4 years’ experience of utilising a transport scheduling and management software.
    • Proven record of accomplishment of change management.
    • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package.
    • Expert level analysis and reporting skills.
    • Experience in developing and implementing strategies to decrease cost and improve efficiency.
    • Ability to work with high volume transport operations.
    • Understanding of basic motor vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed.
    • Solid knowledge of all modes of transport regulations, and compliance standards.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
    • Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities.
