Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
The Manager: Product Analyst is responsible for supporting the innovation, iteration, and optimisation of Payments & Ecosystem products, with a focus on repeat engagement analysis. The Manager Product Analyst will work with Product Managers to better understand how users are interacting with Payments & Ecosystem products, to inform and evaluate new features and experiences and to influence product strategy through data-informed insights and recommendations. This entails conceiving, scoping, and conducting analysis to deepen our understanding of the product usage, identify opportunities to deliver more value, and measure successful outcomes

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education
- 4-year Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, data Science (or related) Degree
- Master’s in business administration is advantageous
- Postgraduate qualification/ Certification or training in Product Analytics or Data Analytics
Experience
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience in product analytics
- At least 3 years’ experience within a non-traditional FinTech or Consumer Marketing environment
- Experience at the management level in the financial sector
- Experience in data analysis and management, business performance management and/or reporting within the financial sector or banking industry
- Experience in scripting with SQL, extracting large sets of data, and building the data extraction pipelines through different datasets
- Expertise with business intelligence and/or data visualization tools
- Experience with Python or other data modelling tools will be a plus
- Experience working in a medium to large organization
- Experience working across global locations/ regions and have a grasp of political, social, infrastructure and integrity challenges
- Understanding emerging markets
- Willing and flexible to travel within Africa and Middle East
English speaker. French language being an added advantage
