Lead, mentor and inspire a young and enthusiastic team of engineers to design and develop cutting-edge, sustainable and cost-effective cooking products.
Manage the entire design process from concept to production, ensuring that all new designs meet the highest environmental and energy efficiency standards.
Continuously improve existing cooking systems to enhance efficiency and performance
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in cooking technology and anticipate future developments
Lead the company's efforts to be at the forefront of sustainable cooking products, with a focus on reducing the environmental footprint.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure the successful launch of new products
Build and maintain a strong relationship with universities and research centres to foster collaboration, tap into new research and technological advancements, and provide mentorship to students.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or a related engineering field
5 + years’ work experience in an Engineering Environment, preferably in the white goods industry. Management experience will be considered as an advantage
Product knowledge and experience in Cooking Products will be considered as an advantage
Knowledge of plastic moulding, metal press tooling and chemical treatment
Knowledge & experience 3D design programs such as Inventor, NX, Catia, Pro-Engineer
Strong leadership and project management skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A visionary mindset, focused on innovation and sustainability
