KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor and inspire a young and enthusiastic team of engineers to design and develop cutting-edge, sustainable and cost-effective cooking products.
• Manage the entire design process from concept to production, ensuring that all new designs meet the highest environmental and energy efficiency standards.
• Continuously improve existing cooking systems to enhance efficiency and performance
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in cooking technology and anticipate future developments
• Lead the company's efforts to be at the forefront of sustainable cooking products, with a focus on reducing the environmental footprint.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure the successful launch of new products
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with universities and research centres to foster collaboration, tap into new research and technological advancements, and provide mentorship to students.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or a related engineering field
• 5 + years’ work experience in an Engineering Environment, preferably in the white goods industry. Management experience will be considered as an advantage
• Product knowledge and experience in Cooking Products will be considered as an advantage
• Knowledge of plastic moulding, metal press tooling and chemical treatment
• Knowledge & experience 3D design programs such as Inventor, NX, Catia, Pro-Engineer
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A visionary mindset, focused on innovation and sustainability
• Microsoft Office (All Disciplines)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• A good understanding of Brand strategy, Brand Keys and Target Audience Development,
• Researching and analyzing consumer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity.
• Campaign development end to end.
• Measuring and reporting on campaign performance and assessing KPIs and ROI.
• Establishing budgets, performance specifications and sales estimates.
• Developing and implementing strategies that resonate with the target market.
• Planning and executing marketing initiatives including campaigns, events, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility programs.
• Agency management (briefing, project management, deliverables)
• Building brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability.
• Facilitate PR activities around senior leadership
• Manage strategic partnerships that promote business results and brand equity
• Collaborating with different teams such as supply chain, manufacturing, sales, etc.
• Overseeing the production of advertisements, video content, promotional materials.
• Support Internal communications on strategic organizational and CEO communications.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A relevant Degree / MBA in Marketing and Communications
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Minimum of >3 years Marketing/Brand management experience
• Familiarity with Budget Control, Costing and Return on Investment
• Effective business communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Project management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tracking and monitoring Payments for project works
• Compilation of long-term plan and budget with tracking of spend against budget
• Following up on Tenders and ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Processing and follow up on Purchase Requisitions
• Ensuring all purchase requisitions meet payment terms
• SRMs submissions and tracking
• The monthly Cash flow reports for Arcelik
• The monthly budget usage reports and project budget usage
• Over time processing and tracking for project work.
• Process and track Invoices with Finance team
• Project book filing, RNFS sign off, DOS sign off
• Facilitating fixed asset sign offs and hand overs to finance and production
• Arcelik Report and Budget SAP captures
• Cost code management
• Local contract development

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bcom Degree/Diploma in Finance or Project management with an understanding of cash flow projections.
• Exposure to fixed asset management advantageous
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to communicate clearly with external and internal parties
• Fast Learning
• proficient organizational skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create long-term and short-term product range plans
• To maintain the Key product development files: NPI, SKU Monitor, Model retail pricing target, Product Introduction Calendar
• To support the co-ordination of new product development issues
• To monitor, manage and communicate internally all relevant legislations affecting all products
• To work closely with the production plants providing product briefs and to guide them on product design, feature trends and to keep to date on market related costs
• To provide effective and timely communication and support to internal customers such as Sales, Customer Support, Supply Chain and Service teams on all product related issues including: performance, market positioning, technical and commercial issues to ensure internal customers are up to date with all product related issues
• To manage and provide reports on the SKU count and commercial performance of the ranges. Take necessary actions to improve performance or discontinue models to maintain a competitive range that is appealing to our retail customers
• To develop marketable communications concepts backed by qualified data capable of supporting potential product promotional claims

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BSc Degree  in Engineering
• Thorough understanding of the relevant market and a good understanding of the commercial environment and commercial relationships which can be incorporated into product strategies
• Creativity combined with excellent analytical skills coupled with attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills
• Effective interpersonal skills including ability to establish and develop good business relationships
• MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A clear understanding of South African consumer behaviour, current and future trends and technologies
