    Manager Skills Development and Training

    An exciting vacancy exists at Corporate Office for an experienced Manager Training & skills Development within the Human Resources division.

    Key Performance Output

    The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Training Academy, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

    • Anticipate and plan for circumstances that may influence the development and implementation of the functional strategic plan.
    • Provide input into the development of the business plan.
    • Ensure remedial actions is implemented timeously to address non-conformances.
    • Design and Develop, Coordinate, and implement Skills Development Programmes to meet needs across the business from entry level to executive level.
    • Support succession planning through the identification and management of development plans and interventions.
    • Ensure that the appropriate procurement process is followed in the identification and appointment of service providers.
    • Manage delivery of approved project(s) within time, cost, and quality.
    • Provide input into annual budget planning process and submit to line management for approval.
    • Monitor and allocate expenses.
    • Manage the effectiveness of Group and Operational training programmes.
    • Manage the development and implementation of training related frameworks, policies, procedures
    • and systems to ensure achievement of the strategic business objectives.
    • Develop interventions to meet EE targets.
    • Conduct training needs analysis for the business unit.

    Technical Skills and Experience

    The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:

    • Bachelor Honours Degree in Human Resource Development in essential.
    • Bachelor Honours Degree in ODETDP is recommended.
    • Accredited Assessor/Moderator is recommended.
    • Registered Skills Development Facilitator is recommended.
    • 5-7 year(s) operational experience in HRD is essential.
    • 2 year(s) managerial experience in HRD Management is essential.
    • Code B: Motor vehicle license is essential.
    • MS Office at an intermediate level.
