Core Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, manage, monitor and review overall strategy and policy alignment activities ensuring alignment with national, provincial and the City's strategies
Develop, implement and support a strategic operational context to drive the Strategy and Policy branch in the Department
Develop the Human Settlement long term strategy aligned to National, Provincial and Municipal Prescripts
Develop the Human Settlement IDP Charter, Divisional Business Plan and SDBIP targets
Contribute to the management and ensure accountability for delivery of contracted work output within parameters
Establish and manage strategic internal and external relationships
Manage the development and implementation of operational plans to meet established annual objectives
Assist in developing and managing a high performance culture within area of accountability.
Manage and set quality standards to ensure continuous improvement of the quality and output of the Section
