Role purpose:

• The role of the Managing Executive: Finance Business Partner -Consumer Business Unit is to ensure that key business objectives of the function are met through providing strategic and operational financial leadership and partnering with the business to ensure effective decision making, informed by financial insights and business intelligence. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• To enhance value creation and deliver the highest quality Profit and Loss planning and management.
• Business case development
• Financial Planning
• Profit and loss analysis
• Business Partner Decision Support 
• Target/ KPI Management and control
• Management Reporting
• Business Intelligence
• Control and Governance
• Operational Support
• Team leadership

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Must have technical/professional qualifications: 
• Actuarial or mathematics honours degree; or
• B.Com Accounting honours degree /CA(SA) or equivalent 
• At least 10 years of financial management experience, preferably in a public enterprise environment 
• At least 3-5 years operating at the Executive level
• ICT industry experience an advantage
• Strategic agility
• External perspective and appreciation of the macro-economic environment
• Strategic multiple-stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills 
• Compelling communication and influencing skills
• Political Savvy
