    Marketing Manager - Content

    About the job

    • A well-established brand with a global footprint, that prides itself on making people’s lives easier through frontier technology that creates enabling opportunities is looking for is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager who will be responsible for all areas of marketing and brand management of the Flash Portfolio in the markets in which it operates.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Matric
    • Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage 
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brand Management
    • At least 3 years Brand Management experience in a Marketing environment
    • Retail experience (formal or informal)
    • Advertising agency experience

      Duties & Responsibilities:

    BRANDS IN:

    • Brand research – with commercial & product manager (viability and marketing planning)
    • Assisting with new FGC content acquisitions by ensuring that key brands are prioritized (align with the company’s brand image and strategies)
    • Develop international & local brand acquisition presentations
    • Conduct & compile client authorisation research, presentations & launch planning
    • Compile and manage international & local marketing rate card
    • Based on campaign plan & proposed design
    • Liaison with aggregators (International brands), local brands Product, KAM’s & internal marketing department
    • Motivate, share and manage brand promotional material and creative approvals (with KAM’s)
    • Work with internal marketing production teams to organize design of campaign elements
    • Supplier/Brand marketing relationship

    • Card mall brand advertising & promotional proposals & presentation

    • Develop and recommend campaign budgets (working with inhouse digital and physical media specialists)
    • Developing and organizing production of promotional strategies to encourage consumer engagement and client adoption of Content products (Flash & client channels)
    • Develop and co-ordinate omni-channel brand plans specific to portfolio aligned to the overall marketing strategy.
    • Drive the execution of the brand plans for portfolio
    • Present new tactical marketing opportunities to brands and clients
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with key partner internally and externally
    • Regular campaign performance management of marketing campaigns
    • Improve campaigns that are not performing well
    • Manage all reporting and post campaign analysis
    • Submit updated summaries on brand exposure to business monthly
    • Working with the Content Commercial Manager to formulate strategies to generate revenue from Content marketing campaigns
    • Analyzing advertising returns
    • Responsible for all areas of marketing and brand management for given business portfolio
    • Ensure briefs are correctly adhered to and full briefs and de-briefs are provided to Traffic and Production Manager/Creative department
    • Act as the primary Marketing point of contact for all portfolio marketing deliverables.
    • Market visits for insights to drive brand plans and POS
