Experience and Qualifications
Relevant Bachelors Degree
5 to 8 years experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years ideally at management level
Responsibilities
Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters
Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions

Partner with Marketing leadership to provide operational support across the marketing function through the implementation of marketing standards and frameworks
Provide guidance regarding the implementation of tools and methodologies across the marketing value chain Monitor and measure value chain process performance for continuous improvement and process optimisation
Provide guidance and ensure adherence across marketing operations and value chain delivery regarding the implementation of marketing standards and frameworks
Implement standards and frameworks to measure the performance and optimisation of the marketing processes and value chain effectiveness and efficiency to guide the business's commercial efforts
Identify, select, engage, and manage vendor relationships
Engage in marketing programme tracking and measuring with specific refence to but excluding programme business/marketing objectives, project management and milestone tracking, resources allocation and performance management, close off reporting and stakeholder management
Define and manage the marketing calendar and ensuring alignment with sales efforts and business/marketing objectives
Identify people capability development needs (skills, knowledge, behaviours), operational processes and define and manage associated workflows
Allocate roles and responsibilities for delivery stream workflow
Establish marketing plans for campaign and programmes, reporting dashboards, workflow tools, documentation, and tracking
Establish, allocate and track budget
Execute the organisation's lead management processes, marketing databases, marketing automation solutions, and track performance to plan, report, and conduct analyses
Drive marketing database strategies and execution in relation to customer growth, segmentation, data cleanliness and completeness
Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy that incorporates system resource and budget allocation and support
Ensure the development, alignment, and implementation of end-to-end processes within area of accountability for continued process improvement
Define, communicate, implement and optimise new functionality and tools within the marketing departments to improve data accuracy and quality, which will in turn bring about better insights and
influence creation of better and more effective marketing programmes Identify areas for process efficiency and improvement in marketing programs and campaigns
Drive adoption of standards and frameworks, systems, tools, and technology across the marketing function to enhance programme performance and deliver results for the business
Oversee the operating efficiency of the marketing automation systems inclusive of lead scoring, data workflows, revenue model, and reporting
Plan for value-chain process improvements, to ensure initiatives and services deliver on operational strategy and objectives and continuously review objectives and goals
Plan and organise multiple work outputs and continuously review objectives and goals
Ensure the alignment of the delivery stream value-chain processes to standards and frameworks within area of accountability for continued process improvement
Monitor delivery against programme commitments to business stakeholder and recommend remedial action for process optimisation to improve stakeholder satisfaction and cost effectiveness and efficiency
Monitor and evaluate programme results and measures and make recommendation for process optimisation
Conduct research where there has been a deviation from standard marketing practices or the introduction of new marketing approaches and strategies, to advise marketing on best practices and the most suitable marketing approaches
Use the insights gained through integrated business reports to measure success and realign tactical strategy implementation objectives appropriately
Analyse existing data and information as well as historical trends to provide early insights into best practices and new trends that guarantee data quality across marketing metrics and operations
Manage and pull key marketing metrics, inputting these measurements into reports that measure the performance of the marketing team as a whole
Consolidate close off reports and store learnings, recommendations and improvement goals for future access and scalability
Refine and update marketing standards and frameworks on changes based on execution feedback/learnings as and when necessary
Provide senior marketing business partners, portfolio managers, programme leads, and other stakeholders as required, ongoing consolidated analysis reports for marketing activities, actively monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the status of marketing initiatives, programme ROI and agreed business and marketing objectives
Prepare and present key marketing KPI insights and data on relevant marketing operations to the relevant stakeholders as required
Build and manage marketing financial plans with various marketing managers ensuring effective use of resources and maximisation of campaign initiatives' potential
Guide resource planning activities ensuring delivery against operational requirements to optimise efficiency and costs
Partner with the finance department in calculating and determining allocation and tracking of budget allocation and distribution
Refine systems and methods to continually improve marketing planning and programme delivery
Assess existing capacity and develop operational plans and forecasts based on future demand
Monitor key projects for capacity and demand, identify capacity constraints and provide analysis
Identify and drive improvement initiatives that optimise capacity and ensure best return on investment without adding risk or disruption
Utilise knowledge and research methods to benchmark resource planning activities and to drive best practice results
Liaise with Capability Leads to understand existing and future resource and system support requirements
Communicate plans and forecasts to stakeholders and review plans to ensure efficient resource utilisation Attend meetings and update others of issues and concerns, when there is a risk of not meeting requirements or where there are over capacity concerns
Ensure that past campaigns, collateral, content, data, statistical analysis, and performance metrics are available to internal stakeholders
