Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the company standards for medical fitness
Must have sound knowledge and understanding of the mining environment
Computer literate
Valid driver’s license

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
Carry out testing of all materials in accordance with SANS 3001
Capture results and specifications of material tested
Report any deviations of results
Safety Health & Environmental (SHE)
Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area
Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all the various aggregates
Carry out other instructions given by your superior
Will be responsible for the tasks as described on appointment and as associated with the above position title
Ensure that all materials produced on the plant are tested according to the prescribed test methods
Willing to work overtime and on weekends when required
The successful candidate must also be able to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment, while having the ability to work independently, as well in a team environment
