    Junior Logistics Controller (Tygerberg)

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • Must have a driver’s license and own vehicle
    • Weighbridge and logistics coordination experience would be advantageous
    • Must reside in the area
    • Certificate of medical fitness
    • Computer Literacy: MS Office
    • Must have knowledge of the company, the product & the surrounding area
    • Must be able to coordinate subcontractors to accommodate customer satisfaction
    • Must be a problem solver
    • Must be able to make good judgment calls when under pressure
    • Must be able to perform mathematical functions

    Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Ensuring subcontractors perform according to their respective agreed standard
    • Ensuring that all Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality Standards are adhered to by subcontractors
    • Submitting monthly reports on weighbridge and subcontractor performance
    • Monitoring and reporting timekeeping, discipline & performance of subcontractors
    • Interacting with clients and subcontractors
    • Responsible for Training & Development of staff
    • Liaising with Logistics, Production and Technical
    • Ensuring that all finance/admin procedures & requirements relating to the weighbridges and subcontractors are adhered to
    • Schedule and coordination of customer deliveries daily

    Laboratory Supervisor (Lyttelton)

    Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • At least 5 years’ + experience in similar position
    • Civil Engineering Diploma/Degree/ Supervisory Management certificate (Advantageous)
    • Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the company standards for medical fitness
    • Must have sound knowledge and understanding of the mining environment
    • Computer literate
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Sampling & Testing of Construction Materials (TMH 5, SANS 3001 AG 1 – AG 23, GR 1 – GR 40)
    • Analysing & Interpretation of Test Results (SANS 1083, SANS 1090, COLTO & COTO)

    • Manage all Samples, Testing sequences and reporting of Test results

    Plant Operator (Eckraal)

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • Must have good communication skills
    • 2 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role/ environment
    • Must have the ability to work as part of a team and in a high-pressure environment
    • Pre-employment medical required
    • Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act

    Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on the plant, while ensuring that the product is produced according to the right quality specifications
    • Ensure for the basic maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the plant
    • Operate the plant according to its desired capacity and specifications
    • Work safely, while always maintaining a clean and neat working environment
    • Report any maintenance related problems and production related issues to the immediate superior
    • Carry out instructions given by superior
    • Adhere to Quality Assurance responsibility during the production process by constantly monitoring and evaluating that a computerized maintenance strategy is employed to ensure absolute reliability and minimum down time
    • Be willing to work overtime as and when required

    Material Tester (Lyttelton)

    Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12)

    Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

    • Carry out testing of all materials in accordance with SANS 3001
    • Capture results and specifications of material tested
    • Report any deviations of results
    • Safety Health & Environmental (SHE)
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area
    • Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all the various aggregates
    • Carry out other instructions given by your superior
    • Will be responsible for the tasks as described on appointment and as associated with the above position title
    • Ensure that all materials produced on the plant are tested according to the prescribed test methods
    • Willing to work overtime and on weekends when required
    • The successful candidate must also be able to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment, while having the ability to work independently, as well in a team environment

    • Monitor and control crusher operations from the control room, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally
    • Adjust crusher settings to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality
    • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues promptly, coordinating with maintenance team for repairs when necessary
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with field operators to ensure seamless coordination and adherence to production targets
    • Safety Compliance: Enforce and adhere to safety protocols, conducting regular safety checks and immediately addressing any safety concerns
    • Keep detailed records of production metrics, downtime, and equipment performance for reporting and analysis purposes
    • Be prepared to respond promptly to emergencies, including equipment malfunctions or safety incidents, by following established protocols
    • Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance schedules and assist in implementing improvements to enhance equipment reliability
