Our client is seeking a technically capable and customer-focused MFP / PABX Technician with Sales Ability to join their team. This role is ideal for an individual who is comfortable working independently in the field, troubleshooting technical issues, building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow sales.
The successful candidate will provide technical support across MFP/printing and PABX/Voice solutions, while actively contributing to revenue growth through new equipment, upgrades and suitable customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, service and support MFP and printing solutions.
Provide technical support for PABX, Voice and telecommunications solutions.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Conduct customer service call-outs and provide professional on-site support.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Identify opportunities for new equipment, upgrades and additional solutions.
Contribute to revenue growth through technical sales and customer engagement.
Manage a service diary and prioritise multiple customer requirements.
Complete relevant administration and technical reporting.
Work independently while meeting service standards, deadlines and sales targets.
Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
2–3 years' relevant experience in at least one of the following:
MFP / printer technical support
PABX / Voice / telecommunications technical support
Technical or solution sales
Experience across MFP/printing, PABX/Voice and technical sales will be highly advantageous.
A+ and N+ certification will be advantageous.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Reside in Port Alfred or Makhanda and be willing to travel throughout the surrounding areas.
Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, customer-focused approach.
Good administrative and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working in a combined technical, service and sales environment.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
