Mid-Senior Front-End / UI Developer at Integrove

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience working as a front-end developer on browser-based and mobile applications;
• Experience with InVision, Adobe XD and Zeppelin from a development role;
• Good understanding of images, image types, image rendering and image file size considerations;
• Good understanding of backend systems and databases;
• Awareness of accessibility standards and commitment to enforce it;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and upskill as your role evolves;
• Showcase of completed work featuring at least one working project with animations and micro-interactions;
• Be visually inclined with attention to detail and perfectionism visible in all your undertakings;
• A good understanding of responsive and adaptive design;
• Awareness of UX design and the importance thereof;
• Work independently and as part of a team;
• Take ownership and responsibility for the UI development of multiple projects on various platforms;
• Excellent organisational skills, time-management and self-discipline;
• Comfortable working from home until the COVID movement restrictions are lifted;
• Ability to work at HQ in Melrose and occasionally at various client locations after the COVID movement restrictions are lifted; and
• Team spirit and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with designers, product owners and stakeholders to implement UI designs and verbal instructions onto working systems;
• Collaborate with developers on various technologies;
• Rapid prototyping to test new theories and ideas;
• Build and maintain reusable system elements;
• Refactor and improve the front-end of existing systems;
• Building the scaffolding for new systems;
• Testing in your own capacity to ensure the best quality of work;
• Upholding the highest standards to acquire pixel-perfect performance;
• Present progress in interactive internal workshops;
• Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices;
• Assist in updating and maintaining our internal website and related marketing activities from time to time; and
• Mentor and assist other employees to improve and refine their UI development skills.
