Miller Assistant - Port Elizabeth at PepsiCo

Job Overview:

• The main purpose of this role is to load flour and bran into tankers/trucks.
• Monitor machine efficiency.
• Check vitamin dosages and quality.
• Assist Miller with maintenance at plantsifters, filters and Conveyors.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Miller.
• Prepare moisture and quality reports and control sheets when required.
• Report deviation to the Miller.
• Proactively prevent chokes and downtime.
• Operate Mill Scada.
• Flexibility to learn from the Silo, Lab and Packing to have a full understanding of the whole process.
• Relieve Miller when necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 preferably with Maths and Science.
• Milling Qualification will be an added advantage.
