Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of both electrical and mechanical systems across the factory, ensuring equipment availability meets operational targets.
This role requires a Matric qualification, a trade-tested Millwright certification, and 3-4 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
You must possess technical expertise in PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics, with proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license with access to personal transport.
Key duties include performing mechanical and electrical inspections, conducting repairs, fault-finding on electrical systems, and collaborating with other technicians such as Boilermakers and Fitters
You will also be tasked with ensuring the proper use and maintenance of tools and executing planned maintenance as outlined by job cards.
Position is based in Mmpumalanga, Middleburg area.
