You will oversee all skills development and training aspects within the industrial manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on heavy industry.
The role requires a strong understanding of South Africa’s Skills Development and training legislation, performance improvement, and management systems.
You must also be well-versed in BBBEE-SD scorecards.
With a minimum of 10 years of experience in skills development and training, along with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF 7-10), you will manage essential processes such as skills development, bursary recruitment, and training compliance.
Key responsibilities include budget management, ensuring on-time and accurate reporting, and conducting internal and external audits.
You will also lead initiatives to enhance the visibility of the intake pool and engage in external forums like TETA, MERSETA, FET, and HET.
The role involves ensuring that training policies and SHERQ-related practices are upheld, and that the development of staff aligns with individual development plans.
Strong leadership is required to manage and grow direct reportees and ensure their competence in fulfilling their roles.
Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of both electrical and mechanical systems across the factory, ensuring equipment availability meets operational targets.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will join the Break-Fix team, specialising in Veritas NetBackup solutions.
The role demands extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting Veritas NetBackup, InfoScale Availability, and Storage across Linux and Windows environments.
You will be responsible for handling technical calls from large enterprise customers, managing Veritas clusters, and addressing complex storage requirements. Expertise in Linux/Unix systems, enterprise SAN environments, and an understanding of enterprise-level networking, routing, and firewalls are essential.
The role requires a self-driven individual with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Veritas NetBackup and Linux/Unix, along with SAN certifications.
You should possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently under pressure and have excellent communication abilities.
A valid code 8 driver’s license, reliable transport, and stable home internet are required. NQF 5 or higher qualifications and additional experience in networking will be advantageous.
This role is focused on precision and process rather than creativity, with a strong emphasis on preparing files for print production.
You will receive designed artwork, and edits for equipment functionality, ensuring they meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
You will have at least 5 years of experience and confident in liaising with international customers, ensuring that the quality of print final product exceeds expectations of the client’s requirements.
A key part of the job involves utilising advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills to adjust and layout artwork, with extreme attention to detail being of paramount importance.
The majority of the role involves getting files print-ready, running trials on machines, and ensuring that labels are accurately printed to client specifications.
You must be comfortable operating print machinery and managing the final print process on the floor.
This position also requires close collaboration with high-profile clients, handling artwork directly from them and ensuring that all design work is correctly aligned with their branding and technical needs.
Communication and efficiency are key, as the role demands quick turnarounds and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise during printing.
