    Motion Graphics Designer/Animator

     Duties

    • Contributing in brainstorms and concept ideation for campaigns and production jobs

    • Creation and rollout of high-quality video work, with the focus being on strong animation and motion graphics work and fulfilling briefs accurately and on time.

    • Work in a team with other creatives and client service staff

    • Work primarily in 2D animation software (After Effects), with a basic understanding of design programs that support the creation of outstanding video work.

    • Digital design, especially repurposing footage for use on social media and other digital channels. Understanding of best design practices particularly for video.

    The employee must:

    • Keep up to date with current and emerging trends and technologies, continually looking for opportunities to push further.

    • Be eager to learn and grow

    • Be willing to assist team members and work overtime when required

    • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Have a strong understanding of video best practices

    • Pay particular attention to detail and respond well to direction

    • Strong technical skills in Adobe After Effects, with basic understanding and experience in the supporting software (Photoshop & Illustrator)

    • Have experience working in a fast-paced agency environment; be able to respond and adapt quickly

    • Be solution driven

    • Have strong time management and self-management skills

    • Have a positive attitude and be a team player – reliability is key!

    • Be able to correctly follow and apply a brand CI to artwork across a range of media

    • Have at least 5 years’ experience as a motion graphics designer.

    • Have an outstanding showreel demonstrating an understanding of titling, 2D motion graphics, basic animation and design.

    • Have an understanding and experience of editing footage, colour grading and a willingness to learn.

    • Experience in Adobe Premier Pro is a bonus.

    • Must be willing to learn video editing in Premier Pro.

    • Must be willing to learn video grade in DaVinci Resolve.
