Motion Graphics Designer/Animator
Duties
Contributing in brainstorms and concept ideation for campaigns and production jobs
Creation and rollout of high-quality video work, with the focus being on strong animation and motion graphics work and fulfilling briefs accurately and on time.
Work in a team with other creatives and client service staff
Work primarily in 2D animation software (After Effects), with a basic understanding of design programs that support the creation of outstanding video work.
Digital design, especially repurposing footage for use on social media and other digital channels. Understanding of best design practices particularly for video.
The employee must:
Keep up to date with current and emerging trends and technologies, continually looking for opportunities to push further.
Be eager to learn and grow
Be willing to assist team members and work overtime when required
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have a strong understanding of video best practices
Pay particular attention to detail and respond well to direction
Strong technical skills in Adobe After Effects, with basic understanding and experience in the supporting software (Photoshop & Illustrator)
Have experience working in a fast-paced agency environment; be able to respond and adapt quickly
Be solution driven
Have strong time management and self-management skills
Have a positive attitude and be a team player – reliability is key!
Be able to correctly follow and apply a brand CI to artwork across a range of media
Have at least 5 years’ experience as a motion graphics designer.
Have an outstanding showreel demonstrating an understanding of titling, 2D motion graphics, basic animation and design.
Have an understanding and experience of editing footage, colour grading and a willingness to learn.
Experience in Adobe Premier Pro is a bonus.
Must be willing to learn video editing in Premier Pro.
Must be willing to learn video grade in DaVinci Resolve.

Keep up to date with current and emerging design trends and technologies, continually look for opportunities to push our design further
Manage the delivery of the briefs/concepts through to final deliverables, ensuring all artworks are delivered on time and to specification
Be able to present to clients in a logical, exciting manner
Help with the broader design team’s workload where appropriate
Effectively manage time and be responsible towards meeting deadlines
Train and mentor team members as needed
Ensure a consistent visual identity and look and feel across all deliverables in order to maximize the consumer experience and brand identity

Qualifications
4 years’ experience working as a digital designer
Strong experience of Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD)
Experience in Animation / HTML / Hype 4.0 / After Effects / Premiere Pro / Invision / Sketch would be advantageous
Ability to conceptualize and create wireframes, as well as fully designed creative roll out
Passion for web design, user experience and user interface design
Adapt to change and respond positively to new challenges and deadlines, delivering excellence under pressure
An eye-catching portfolio that demonstrates a strong range of digital design across multiple digital channels, from wireframes and prototyping to final creative
A relentless focus on attention to detail and consistency

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required and/or 5+ years’ experience with an advertising organisation, with at least 3 years’ previous experience in a high-volume environment.
Digital advertising experience preferential.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, utilise resources, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within scope.
Demonstrate the ability to frame the conceptual idea strategical towards the brands strategic intent and brand persona.
