Being the first line of response that receives, acknowledges and prioritises incidents and system alerts.
Resolution of low severity incidents that are likely to have minimal financial or reputational impact on the organisation.
Escalation of all high severity incidents to the necessary stakeholders.
Day-to-day administration of incident management, including logging of the core remediation tasks (SOPs).retrospective review and root cause analysis of incidents.
Incident ticket monitoring and progress tracking.
Reporting of issues and risks identified in following team processes, tools, methods and standards and recommending improvements through the SOP process.
Keeping stakeholders informed during the incident resolution process.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in information technology, computer science or other relevant field of study. 1 to 2 years' experience in incident management, problem management, IT service management or other relevant work experience.
