Main Purpose of Job

• The architectural design, selection, specification, implementation and optimisation of mining network solutions.

• Windows Server & Network Infrastructure Certifications (MCP, MCSE, MCSA, MCSAM)
• Hirschmann Industrial Certifications (HiBS, HiPP, HiNP, HiPP, HiNP, HiES)
• Rajant Network Certifications
• Cisco Network Certifications
• Huawei Certifications

Experience

• +5 years working experience in ICT architecture design
• Experience with Mining OT Systems (Audio, Video & Data Communications)
• Tracking technologies (Asset location, Detection systems, Locations Zones & Equipment tracking)
• Experience in Underground Mining
• IT and ICT solution design and delivery experience
• Experience with LTE as a Communications Infrastructure

Key Performance Areas:

• Collecting network performance data, monitoring network security, troubleshooting issues, anticipating problems and performing routine maintenance
• IT security considerations for underground mining operation
• Translate requirements into architecture design for different projects
• Ensure designs adhere to architectural standards and are practically implementable
• Validate solutions for quality, architectural and functional requirements
• Deliver business information blueprints with Proof of concepts
• Ensure all test efforts are planned, monitored and executed
• Working closely with process management teams and coordinating technical activities
• Provide technical guidance, oversight, coaching and mentoring to project team members
• Ensure successful handover into operations (Ensure the end-to-end delivery)
• Maintenance and support of network solutions
