Office Manager: Research and Technology Development Services (Elsenburg/Stellenbosch), Ref No. AGR 13/2025 at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to manage a comprehensive research support service to the Senior Manager.

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years management experience in rendering executive support functions to Senior Management; A valid code B or higher driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Recommendation    

• Proven experience in administration and executive management support functions; Working knowledge of how government departments function and how the different spheres of government operates. 

Key Performance Areas    

• Manage Research Project Process of Programme; Render line administrative support services; Execute research, analyse information and compile complex documents for the Senior Manager; Provide support to the Senior Manager with regard to meetings; Manage resources of the Office of the Senior Manager; Remain up to date with regard to the applicable prescripts/policies and procedures applicable to his/her work terrain to ensure efficient and effective support to the Senior Manager.
