    Officer: Strategic Projects and Stakeholder Relations

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
    Provide Support to Stakeholders

    • Facilitate communication of relevant information between TETA and stakeholders;
    • Resolve customer queries and complaints;
    • Stakeholder relationship management (internal and external);
    • Support the alignment and integration of programme plans and implementation.

    Finance Administration

    • Validate documentation according to the contract deliverables and validation framework;
    • Verify tranche claims for payment;
    • Ensure that all contract deliverables are captured on TETA required systems;
    • Ensure that payments are processed timeously and followed up on with relevant department;
    • Update stakeholders on payments;
    • Update the claims register on payments processed.

    Manage the Independent Management Committee (IMC) and DG Approval Process 

    • Record proposals in IMC database;
    • Compile compliance reports of all proposals received;
    • Draft acknowledgment letters of proposals received and evaluated proposal;
    • Compile proposal compliance and evaluation report;
    • Ensure effective implementation of filling system and information management;
    • Provide assessment reports on process;
    • Draft Correspondence;
    • Follow up on IMC decisions with stakeholders.

    Manage the Administration of Special Projects

    • Manage the administration of special projects contract drafting, maintenance and payments verifications;
    • Manage all records and documents related to projects in line with TETA approved systems;
    • Manage the updating of DG and strategic projects report on a monthly and quarterly basis.

    Audit, Reporting and Compliance 

    • Coordination, preparation for internal and external audits;
    • Conduct project side visits and prepare reports on unit’s projects; 
    • Provide support to benchmarking of SETAS best practices;

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Qualification and Experience

    • M+3 qualification in Project Management or Education Training and Development or relevant tertiary qualification;
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management and 1 year experience in stakeholder relations management;
    • Experience in SETA/ transport/ education environment preferable;
    • Additional Project Management/ Strategic Planning Management certificate will be an added advantage;
    • Willingness to travel and work overtime.
