Online Technologist - (1139) at University of Venda

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Information Technology coupled with at least four years relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and its various versions, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server. Microsoft SharePoint certification, Certified Scrum Developer, Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps, Java, etc. will be an added advantage.
• 2-3 years of experience in programming languages like C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, focusing on SharePoint development will be an added advantage.
• Experience using SharePoint Designer to create workflows, custom forms, and branding.
• Knowledge of SharePoint REST API for data manipulation and integration with other applications.

Duties:

• Contribute expertise in Microsoft SharePoint to design, develop, and implement customized solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of the SharePoint environment.
• Play a pivotal role in configuring SharePoint sites, creating web parts, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems to support business operations.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint applications, ensuring they meet user requirements and best practices.
