    Operations Manager

    Description

    In this role as the dynamic Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing the effective management of logistics and industrial properties, contributing to the company's mission of providing investors with pure exposure to modern logistics properties. This role plays a pivotal part in the growth of both the individual and the business, leveraging a robust management team with a proven track record in developing cutting-edge distribution assets. Responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum, of operations management, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making for logistics and industrial properties. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a team, ensuring the growth of the business, and implementing effective operational strategies within a dynamic policy framework.

    Key qualifications of the operation Manager:

    • Bachelor's degree in Property or a technical qualification
    • 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role
    • Experienced in software for property operations workflow
    • Strong knowledge of building-related laws and regulations
    • Understanding of maintenance and reinstatement clauses in leases advantageous

    Key duties for the Operations Manager include but are not limited to:

    • Operations management of buildings and facilities.
    • Prepare annual budgets and monitor budgetary performance.
    • Compile annual building condition reports and oversee remedial works based on report findings.
    • Compile tenant incoming reports and reinstatement reports.
    • Track and manage maintenance activities.
    • Oversee projects, including re-instatement, solar installations, and tenant installations.
    • Manage common areas in industrial parks.
    • Provide operational documentation during building disposals and offer technical advice on operational matters.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Engage with stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, third-party service providers, and professionals.

    Key personal skills for an effective Operations Manager:

    • Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
    • Demonstrate a sharp attention to detail.
    • Maintain meticulous record-keeping practices.
    • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills.
    • Carry out responsibilities within a policy framework.
