    Operations Planning Manager

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities include:

    Raw Material Sourcing

    • Group Sourcing and Procurement of Raw Materials ( Additive and Base Oils ) estimated spend of RM 860 with an equivalent 60 KT of Raw Material within a 12 month period. Local: Packaging & additive budgets to TSA Procurement

    LMP SAP MRP

    • To optimise LMP Material Requirement Planning Module and increase efficiency improvement thereof

    Planning Process

    • Responsible for alignment and the optimisation of the Lubricants Marketing Demand into the Lubricant Manufacturing Plants Planning process thereby Linking Marketing Strategy to LMP Production Strategy
    • Daily/Weekly Monitoring through Focus & Optimisation Forums

    Finance

    • Effective execution of Demand plan in line with monthly budgeted volume ( Plan vs Actual Monitoring)
    • Align Daily, Weekly & Monthly Production Planning to achieve plant targeted operating costs.

    Inventory Management

    • Implement measures to minimise stock losses and gains on base oils, additives and finished products.
    • Continuous management of working capital by optimisation of the Material Requirement Planning tool.
    • Maintain effective and economic levels of inventory for base oils, additives and packaging.

    HSEQ

    • Ensure constant adherence and compliances to the Company’s HSEQ and security standards

    People Management

    • To effectively manage employee through applying the Total’s People Management principles, and to develop, coach and mentor subordinates to promote a positive working environment that will attract and retain skilled staff and increase productivity.

    Context and environment

    • Technical: manage strained storage capacity within LMP and buffer stock along the supply chain for Lubricants
    • Meet requirements of Energy Regulator (NERSA) and National Ports Regulator
    • National Key Point Act

    Candidate profile

    • A tertiary qualification in the fields of either: Operations /Finance / Quality/ Business or equivalent ( M+3),
    • Post Graduate Qualification Advantageous ( M+4)
    • 10 years working experience gained in a petrochemical, production or industrial environment.
    • Strong Functional knowledge of SAP Modules: Sales Demand, Materials Management and Production planning
