Operator Reinstatement Long Grade – REF: JW01EX/202526 at Johannesburg Water

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Submit job cards daily. Ensure that all checks and overtime sheets are filled in correctly and submitted before end of shift. Filling in vehicle inspection sheet, Logbooks daily and submit to Foreman or Operations Manager on a weekly basis. Enforce safety in the workplace according to OHASA, SANS and Safety procedures. Conduct Risk assessment before entering excavations. Barricade worksites and excavations to make safe.
• Place cones, signage’s and other safety equipment whilst working on site. Maintain viable industrial relations and maintain good acceptable communication patterns that comply with company vision and mission, objectives, and sore values. Maintain good relations with customers.
• Building of forms for casting of concrete slabs and chamber decks as per design. Perform paving and grouting where required. Backfill and compact excavation with suitable material. Drive heavy –duty vehicles, deliver and remove materials to and from site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 10/NQF 2 or ABET level 4 (Literacy and Numeracy)
• 2 Years’ experience in backfilling, compaction, and site cleaning
• Basic supervisory experience. Code 10 Driver License with PDP

• Grade 10/NQF 2 or ABET level 4 (Literacy and Numeracy)
• 2 Years’ experience in building, bricklaying, or paving
• Basic supervisory experience. Code 10 Drivers License with PDP
