As a Cashier at Mount Nelson, a Belmond Hotel, you will be responsible for taking guests orders over the phone promptly and in a friendly manner, ensuring a seamless service is provided for the In Room Dining Department.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for answering the telephones using the appropriate etiquette, in accordance to LQA standards.
Take the guest order, always trying to use suggestive/ upselling techniques.
Provide an expected delivery time for the guest’s order.
Ensure guests special requests are communicated to the Kitchen.
Monitor guest orders to ensure all orders are delivered on time.
Accurately posts payments to the POS system
Requirements
What You Bring:
Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
1- 2 years relevant experience in a similar position within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment
