    Paid Media Specialist (Digital Marketing) - JHB

    Experience: 3-5 years

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience (preferred)
    • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on PPC advertising, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads
    • Proficiency in using WordPress and Elementor (Paid version) for website development and content management
    • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools
    • Knowledge of social media marketing strategies and platforms
    • Experience with email marketing and marketing automation tools
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other data analysis tools
    • Creative and analytical thinking skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute paid media strategies, with a primary focus on PPC advertising, to enhance online presence and brand awareness
    • Manage and update company websites using WordPress and Elementor, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines
    • Create and manage SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms, with a focus on paid search optimization
    • Implement and monitor paid social media campaigns to increase engagement and reach, especially on platforms like Facebook and Instagram
    • Conduct keyword research and optimize web content for paid search campaigns to improve search engine rankings and reduce Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage email marketing campaigns, utilizing data-driven strategies to reduce CAC through email channels
    • Analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, focusing on paid media sources
    • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and tools, and apply new technologies as appropriate for paid media optimization
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistency in branding and marketing messages across all digital platforms

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Reduction in Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) across paid media channels, including Google Ads and Facebook Ads
    • Increase in website traffic and user engagement driven by paid media efforts
    • Growth in social media followers and engagement rates through paid social campaigns
    • Improvement in search engine rankings for targeted keywords through paid search efforts
    • Increase in email open rates and click-through rates, resulting in lower CAC via email marketing
    • Conversion rate optimization across paid digital platforms, leading to more cost-effective customer acquisition
    • Effective tracking and analysis of digital marketing campaigns to inform future paid media strategies
    • By shifting the focus of this role to Paid Media Specialist, you can emphasize the importance of reducing the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) across paid channels like Google Ads and Facebook Ads, aligning the KPIs with this goal to measure success in driving cost-effective customer acquisition through paid media efforts.
