People Communications Officer at Unitrans

Job Advert Summary    

• An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre People Communications Officer at Unitrans. The role prepares written material for publication by liaising with key article sources. Reads copy to detect errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax and verifies facts, dates and statistics. Rewrites or modifies copy to clarify meaning and to conform to publication's style and editorial policy. Marks copy for typesetter, using standardised code to indicate how type should be set. Reads galley and page proofs to detect errors. Initiates or replies to correspondence regarding material published or being considered for publication. May oversee and administer all financial matters related to the publication.

Minimum Requirements    

• 4 year Degree / NQF level 7 in Marketing 
• Graphic Design Experience
• Up to 3 Year experience

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Maintain and update the business website (incl. design, content).
• Plan, create, co-ordinate and distribute all internal and external communication (newsletters, ad hoc articles, MDDs)
• Event management
• Provide quarterly reports on campaigns
• Liaise/Manage any relationships or partnerships as
• Design and package content for communication to customers both internal
• Analyze affiliate behavior analytics, spot trends in the data and suggest improvements to the way do things
