Job Summary:
To support the development and implementation of the group internal Communications and Culture strategy, localising for Smollan Tiger Brands Field Sales (TBFS). Further, to act as the key liaison to inform and support customer development and marketing teams in all projects relevant to the Business Unit’s external communications, brand and marketing.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Development and Management of the Communication & Culture Strategy
Collaborate with the Communications & Culture team to interpret and execute the Group Communication and Culture strategy for TBFS, ensuring alignment to key business priorities
Support TBFS by providing specific and timely communications and culture insights to enable the TBFS Client Executive and Senior Leadership to engage relevant stakeholders accordingly
Work with the Communications & Culture team to iterate and execute clear and effective crisis management communication strategies, and to execute plans and activities to support change management implementation
Generate and maintain advocacy at the executive level and stakeholder buy-in for the implementation of Communications & Culture projects
Internal Communications
Work with key operational stakeholders on assigned portfolio focuses, and fully support TBFS to ensure that all communication, campaign and CI efforts are aligned and executed timeously
Project manage outsourced work with suppliers such as designers, online marketers, web developers, printers and other agencies
Ensure output quality control and approval
Ensure campaigns and projects are executed within budget
Communications & Culture Insights and Action
Support the administration of the TBFS employee engagement initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including measuring and tracking programmes through employee surveys and other key metrics
Support the COE in reporting across the capability
Work with TBFS leadership and the Communications & Culture team to understand and define key trends, creating actionable insights relevant to the Business Unit
Internal and External Brand Management
Work with the Communications & Culture team to refine the Employee Value Proposition & Employer Brand and bring it to life in TBFS
Assist in the roll-out of innovative EVP initiatives, including social media presence and recruitment/candidate collateral
Evaluate feedback, and translate this into actionable recommendations to improve the organisation's work environment and brand
Event Coordination
Collaborate with stakeholders for event coordination as required
Oversee and manage design requirements for events
Arrange audio visual multimedia and general requirements for various events as required
Stakeholder Engagement
Identify and address needs of all key relevant stakeholders
Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with key stakeholders
Proactively manage stakeholder updates and communicate progress on key work streams
Act as the key liaison to marketing and brand in alignment of internal and external projects relating to TBFS
