    Plant Accountant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Organise and attend Weekly KPI meetings; prepare, organise and attend weekly cost control meeting
    • Identify, support and measure cost savings initiatives and lead out annual stock count process

    Provide financial support with regards to stock management, including:

    • Rework
    • Stock at risk
    • Write offs
    • Stock counts (annual/cycle counts)
    • Stock at risk provisions

    Other Responsibilities include:

    • Preparation of month-end and year-end journals as well as preparation of monthly plant finance reporting and presentations
    • Work closely and support Plant Manager and other department heads (Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Procurement etc.) to deliver on business goals and strategies
    • Analyse Product/Process Mix/yield and other production data to identify areas of risk or improvement around cost management
    • Preparation, management and tracking of supplier/customer claims
    • Prepare SAP budget annually
    • Preparation and support of internal and external audit

    Qualifications And Skills

    • Accounting / Finance Degree with at least 3-5 years’ relevant experience, preferably within a Manufacturing or FMCG environment; professional qualification (certified or pursuing) such as CPA/ACCA/CIMA etc. will be an advantage
    • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), ideally with some previous experience with SAP
    • Highly organised with the ability to multi task, work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
    • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, to communicate fluently with the diverse employee group at Kerry; multi-lingual skills will be a plus
    • Highly organized approach, with an easy-going personality to build great relationships with stakeholders
    • Flexible and adaptable nature - cool under pressure and be able to plan ahead
