With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering high-quality projects, we are looking for a Plant Agent to ensure and support the group plant department in achieving its cost goals.
Key Duties:
Check oil samples reports and following through to sites
Research filtration methods for problematic areas
Research sampling methods
Report to Management for any deviations on site
Site report case study’s
Weekly reports on samples per site that need attention
Training on sites for sampling needed
Oil recycling on sites check up
Installations on sites co-ordination and training
Visit Sites – Servicing and Technical issues
Services done correctly filters and checks as per servicing criteria
Samples with correct lube age
Verifying filtration fitments
Storage and handling of lubrication + identification stickers put on plant and lubricant drums
Fuel storage and handling
Breather maintenance and change out intervals
Assistance in major component failure reports
Back to Basics trouble shooting
Development in service bulletins
Courses in Tribology where required
Maintain a clean and effective work area
Adhesion to deadlines are critical
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Trade in Earth Moving Mechanic
15 years’ experience working with Earth moving and Roads construction machinery and 10 years’ OEM Diagnostic software experience
Must have knowledge of OEM Drivetrain and Hydraulic Training, Tribology, Fleet and Site operations
Provide Technical training & Mentorship to EMM
Implementing and Monitoring adherence to policies & procedures
