    Plant Manager - Gqeberha

    Purpose

    To oversee, direct and manage optimum daily operations of the plant. This position  is based in Gqberha and falls within  Supply Chain, reporting  to the Head of Manufacturing

    Key Responsibilities

    • Improve manufacturing reliability and stability.
    • Step-change plant efficiency
    • Deliver conversion cost budget and specific focus on OPEX management.
    • Deliver conversion cost savings plan.
    • Step up manufacturing reliability across the network.
    • Drive manufacturing plant efficiency (OEE)
    • Craft Excellence in Quality Management
    • Improve plant utilities usage (water, energy, effluent ) Network optimisation
    • Develop and manage the most effective relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other business units to maximise the potential for demand planning accuracy.
    • Collaborate with business units to determine ways in which products may be brought to the market at an optimal cost and meet their business requirement.
    • Geographical expansion: Drive and implement key step changes to affect the expansion process in Africa and Internationally.
    •  Category break out: Step change Heineken Beverages position in premium and on-premise .channel and reliable supply.
    • Enhancing the GI Margin and actively manage brand/product mix.
    • Plans executed & support ITO capability building and design.
    • Effectively manage Performance Management cycles with team to develop future fit competencies.
    • Pro-actively coach teams around all Heineken behavioural and relevant functional competencies
    • Select, develop and retain critical skills and talent and succession plans and development actions defined and implemented.
    • Support and drive Employment Equity within Heineken Beverages

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Honours Degree, MSC
    • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience
    • General Management, Manufacturing, SHERQ, Management, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain/Manufacturing Strategy knowledge
