    PMO Administrator-Operational Excellence and Technology - Johannesburg

    Accountability:

    • To support the implementation of the global technology strategy in Glencore copper assets. The role will provide support in the Regional (Africa) Operational Excellence and Technology Transformation business function. The execution of the responsibilities of this role must be undertaken in line with Glencore’s Values and Code of Conduct.

    • OE&T Regional PMO Lead
    • OE&T Regional (Africa) and Asset teams
    • Glencore Services Commercial and operational Teams
    • KCC Commercial and operational teas
    • Mumi Commercial and operational teams

    Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

    • Undergraduate degree in IT/IS/Computer Science/Engineering
    • Postgraduate degree would be beneficial
    • CAPM/Prince 2 certification would be beneficial

    Work Experience:

    • 7 years’ proven work experience as a project administrator or coordinator in a complex operating environment
    • Demonstrated involvement in a project from initiation to closure
    • Demonstrated involvement in transformational projects
    • Familiarity with governance, change management, enterprise architecture and business improvement frameworks and methodologies
    • Highly organised, meticulous individual with the ability to multitask, work independently and with excellent time management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to operate across various levels in an organisation
    • Excellent collaboration skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Expert Microsoft Project, Enterprise project, planner, and project online skills
    • Experience with other web-based project management platforms
    • Working knowledge of MS product suite
    • PowerBI skills would be advantageous

    General Accountability:

    • To own all administrative duties in the portfolio under the direction of the PMO Lead. This includes meetings management, documentation management, tracking of identified critical path items and procurement process administration.
    • Engagement with OE&T and asset stakeholders to carry out administrative duties
    • Report and escalate known risks and issues to management as needed.
    • Support the evolution of the PMO and re-enforce a “delivery culture”
    • Manage project information
