    Portfolio Strategy Lead

    Overview

    • The Portfolio Strategy Lead at Zenith is responsible for driving connected, data-led media strategies across ATL and digital channels for a portfolio of FMCG brands, while ensuring delivery excellence, operational consistency, and high-quality execution.
    • This role sits at the intersection of strategy, audience intelligence, and integrated media planning, leveraging data signals, identity frameworks, and channel expertise (ATL + digital) to deliver cohesive consumer experiences across the full funnel.
    • The role acts as both a trusted client partner and internal orchestrator, ensuring seamless integration across Zenith capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    Integrated ATL + Digital Strategy Leadership

    • Lead the development of full-funnel media strategies across ATL and digital channels, ensuring seamless integration between offline and online touchpoints
    • Build strategies that are enriched by audience insights, category understanding and defining source of growth
    • Apply audience-first and data-led planning principles to inform ATL and digital investment decisions
    • Translate client business objectives into clear, connected strategies across all media touchpoints
    • Leverage data signals, identity graphs, and platform insights to improve targeting, sequencing, and effectiveness
    • Ensure strategic plans reflect performance metrics aligned to client business objectives

    Portfolio Stewardship & Client Leadership

    • Act as the senior lead across a portfolio of FMCG brands, ensuring seamless day-to-day management
    • Build strong, trusted client relationships through consistent delivery and strategic value
    • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution across ATL and digital, ensuring:
    • Accuracy and integrity of flowplans and media plans
    • Timely and coordinated multi-channel campaign delivery

    Strong financial management and budget control

    • Accurate reconciliation and billing processes
    • Maintain high standards of consistency, quality, and attention to detail across all channels
    • Proactively manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment

    Data, Audience & Identity-Led Planning

    • Champion the use of audience-first thinking across all strategies
    • Integrate multiple data sources and signals (first-party data, platform data, syndicated research, campaign performance data)
    • Apply identity-based planning frameworks (e.g. identity graphs, audience segmentation models) to improve targeting and reach efficiency
    • Work with data and tech teams to enhance audience understanding, measurement, and optimisation
    • Drive a culture of data-informed decision making across all media channels

    Operational Excellence & Delivery Consistency

    • Drive best-in-class processes, governance, and ways of working across ATL and digital execution
    • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality control across planning, buying, implemtation and financial management
    • Maintain strong ownership of flowplans, budgets, reconciliations, and campaign delivery timelines
    • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, clarity, and cross-channel integration
    • Ensure alignment with Zenith and Publicis Media operational frameworks and standards

    Performance & Commercial Accountability

    • Own delivery against client KPIs and campaign objectives across ATL and digital channels
    • Identify opportunities to improve media effectiveness, efficiency, and channel synergy
    • Support forecasting, scoping, and resource alignment
    • Contribute to portfolio growth and organic expansion opportunities

    People Leadership & Development

    • Own delivery against client KPIs and campaign objectives across ATL and digital channels
    • Identify opportunities to improve media effectiveness, efficiency, and channel synergy
    • Support forecasting, scoping, and resource alignment
    • Contribute to portfolio growth and organic expansion opportunities

    Thought Leadership & Innovation

    • Stay ahead of category trends, media innovation, and platform evolution across ATL and digital
    • Bring proactive ideas leveraging data, technology, and emerging media ecosystems
    • Champion test-and-learn approaches and continuous optimisation across channels
    • Contribute to Zenith thought leadership, credentials, pitches and case studies

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years’ experience in media strategy
    • Strong FMCG/CPG experience managing multi-brand portfolios
    • Proven expertise in both ATL and digital media strategy and planning
    • Strong understanding of media ecosystems across TV, radio, OOH, search, social, programmatic, and video
    • Experience with data-led planning, audience frameworks, and identity-based marketing approaches
    • Strong commercial acumen (budget management, forecasting, profitability)
    • Experience working within a matrixed, cross-functional agency environment
    • Strong client leadership and stakeholder management skills
