Requirements:

• National Diploma in Financial Management, Accounting, Local Government Finance or an equivalent qualification. Valid Code B Driver’s License will be an added advantage, Proficiency in MS Office applications and municipal financial management systems. Excellent organizational and administrative skills; Excellent organizational and administrative skills; Excellent analytic and problem-solving ability; High level of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality; Have ability to give attention to detail and be able to work under pressure; Report writing; Communication Skills; Ability to deal with conflict situations; Excellent Negotiation skills.

Duties:

• Responsible for executing billing and financial administration functions to ensure accurate and timeous customer billing; monitoring water and electricity consumption and investigating billing discrepancies; processing billing adjustments and journals to correct inaccurate accounts; assisting with meter and consumption-related investigations; capturing customer queries, requests and maintenance matters on applicable municipal systems; processing interim meter maintenance information to ensure accurate billing; resolving customer complaints; and maintaining accurate billing records in compliance with municipal policies and procedures.
