Job Purpose    

• To provide an administrative support services to the Forensic Investigation Department within the eThekwini Municipality.

This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (FINANCE & IT FORENSICS)

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Provides administrative and logistical support to the Senior Manager.
• Co-ordinates information of finalized investigations.
• Compiles investigative information resulting from identified weak systems giving rise to fraud and corruption.
• Follows up on decisions taken at management or other relevant meetings.
• Prepares quarterly presentation schedule for EXCO.
• Compiles and updates monitored investigation schedules.
• Provides status of investigations at the discretion of the Senior Manager.
• Updates the Workplace Skills Plan for Investigation Department.
• Takes down and transcribes shorthand dictation when required in addition to Dictaphone typing.

Essential Requirements    

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 2 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements    

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and an Administrative Certificate.
• 3 Years relevant experience.
