Principal SAP Solution Specialist at Engen

Purpose of the Job

• Develop, Manage and support Engen’s SAP Sales and Distribution module (SD), SAP Secondary Distribution module (SDM), and 3rd party applications by managing and guiding a team of application developers and understanding to ensure adherence to Engen IT architecture 
• This job will support the sale and distribution of Engen’s bulk products.

What you’ll have done before:
Baseline:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields
• SAP Sales and Distribution certification 
• 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas logistics and SAP Sales and Distribution module (SAP SD)
•  Extensive knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution module, and upgrades
• 5+ years Solution Manager experience
•  Integration experience with FI/CO and MM
•  Ability to demonstrate understanding of Supply Chain business processes.

Advantage:

• ITIL certification
• SAP Oil and Gas industry experience
• Exposure to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
• Exposure to SAP Secondary Distribution module (SAP SDM)
• SAP Certification in other SAP modules 
• Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA

What you'll be doing:

• Assists in the implementation, and support of SAP Sales and Distribution module (IS Oil), SAP Secondary Distribution Management module (SDM), interfaces and integrations.
• Liaise with other Consultants to ensure quick resolution of incidents and enhancements.
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
•  Design, develop and manage solution roadmaps. 
• Review and provide input to solutions implemented.
• Design, configure and unit testing of SAP Sales and Distribution module (SD), and SAP Secondary Distribution Management module (SDM).
• Continuously improve inefficient business systems and operations. 
• Resolve system defects within defined SLAs by applying fixes and SAP notes.
