    Principal Specialist-CVM Offers

    Subscriber Targets

    • Scope and lead projects and define an offer strategy to help Showmax reach its near- and long-term subscription business goals.
    • Provide rigorous quantitative analysis and insights to senior management that shape their perspectives and influence departmental and cross-Showmax growth plans.
    • Communicate important findings to senior leadership and ensure recommendations have the right owners for execution.
    • Work with leaders across functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Data, and Finance) to implement relevant recommendations.
    • Support cross-functional teams on regular strategic planning, driver-based forecasting, and performance management processes.
    • Analyse g pricing models and subscription offers to maximize user acquisition and retention.
    • Run/Lead a profitable outbound contact centre operation (25+ employees), ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction, great customer experiences and sales results in line with business objectives.
    • Define and manage the strategic offer canvass, in line with business subscriber targets, across the different functional areas under the COO.

    Business Case Development and Campaign Design

    • Ideate offers and design campaigns with the Customer Value Management team in line with business strategy and subscriber targets.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to define campaign objectives, and customer experience journeys and outcomes.
    • Brief and work with Marketing and technical teams o campaign creation, testing and deployment.
    • Identify cost and revenue drivers of campaigns.
    • Develop business case models which incorporate campaign scenarios and options in order to quantify expected uplift.
    • Review campaign financials with Finance teams, and obtain necessary executive approvals.
    • Summarize findings with clear recommendations to support decision-making with leadership teams.
    • Exploring and testing new subscription models or plans that cater to different user segments or demographics.

    Measurement, Monitoring and Optimisation

    • Collaborate with forecasting, reporting and analytics functions to measure actual performance of campaigns against business cases and campaign objectives.
    • Identify areas for improvement and enhancements to optimize campaign performance where necessary.
    • Conducting market research to understand customer preferences, pricing sensitivity, and factors influencing subscription decisions.
    • Monitoring the competitive landscape in the streaming industry to identify trends and opportunities for Showmax’s’ growth and offers.

    Stakeholder Management

    • build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels, to ensure mutually beneficial interaction, in an effort to meet strategic objectives.
    • Provide leadership with relevant reports and insights which will inform business decisions.
    • Ensure all business/customer requirements are planned for to ensure optimal customer experiences for both internal and external customers.

    Qualifications Essential

    • A post graduate qualification in Marketing, Statistics, Economics or Finance
    • Degrees, diplomas and certificates are advantageous, but an impressive and fantastic portfolio could get you the job

    Experience

    • A minimum of 8-10 years working in Strategy, Consulting, Business Analysis or similar fields
    • Demonstrable experience of influencing growth with a focus on data.
    • Data analysis and data modelling skills required.
    • Knowledge of CVM/Marketing is advantageous.
    • Experience in customer-facing industries (such as Telcos, Financial Services or Retail) advantageous.
    • Must have a passion for leveraging data and insights to drive profitable growth.
    • Leading high performing Outbound Contact centre sales team experience required.
