8 years or more relevant experience post qualification, in protection and control systems including the commissioning of high voltage primary plant and equipment.
Must have a clear understanding of the IEC 61850 standard as well as substantial experience of protection testing under that standard.
Appointment as a Responsible Person in terms of NRS 040 Switching Regulations.
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Driver's license: Code B/EB.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:
Required to work in all weather conditions.
Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and overtime and will be required to do standby duties.
