Principal Technology Analyst at Sasol

Purpose of Job

• As the Principal Technology Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and categorizing new technology options critical to Sasol's transformation.

Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

• Accountable for analysing small start-ups and large corporate technology offerings by assessing the technology maturity, value proposition and competitiveness relative to alternative technologies.
• Accountable for technology landscape studies that screen emerging and adjacent technologies relevant to Sasol's transformation ambition.
• Responsible and Accountable for evaluating sustainable product production pathways and make recommendations based on technical and commercial feasibility.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and market trends that could impact Sasol's transformation strategy and provide thought leadership.
• Align scope, priorities, and business drivers with clients and ensure technology analysis is executed with reliable information.
• Responsible for development, setting and maintaining the standards to which technology analyses need to be conducted as well as the methodologies.
• Support the Senior Manager in developing others.

• University Bachelors Degree in Engineering
