Process Artisan - Midrand at The Coca-Cola Company

Job Description    

• Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing Department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Process Artisan role, which is based in Midrand. The successful candidate will report directly to the Plant Engineer in Midrand. KEY PURPOSE To maintain (inspect and adjust) and repair equipment proactively as per maintenance targets in order to continually improve department efficiency, to optimize equipment availability and to minimize losses and risk.

Key Duties & Responsibilities    
Maintenance

• Execute the proper maintenance strategy.
• Conduct the completion of parts requisitions.
• Maintain equipment to basic condition at all times.
• Evaluate and repair breakdowns.
• Repair parts vs replace.

Manage spares and consumables

• Provide support in managing of projects.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform proper start-up of the bottling line.
• Monitor the delegated work allocation.

Continuous improvement

• Manage personal development and performance.
• Comply with purpose driven goals.
• Monitor and maintain processes and equipment to minimise losses.

Training and development

• Provide operators with relevant training.
• Assess operator capabilities.
• Support and execute work practices.
• Coach and train learners.

Skills, Experience & Education    

• A minimum of Matric/N3- Mechanical qualification.
• Qualified Artisan.
• A recognised Mechanical Trade Test.
• Minimum of 2-4 years relevant technical experience in a FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of Technical and PLC principles.
• Knowledge of bottling principles.
• SHE principles and procedures
