Process Controller Class 3 (Ref No: IS-TR-PC9 & IS-TR-PC11) at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• Co-ordinates, control and oversee the operations of the Water and Waste Water Treatment Works, inclusive of monitoring and implementing procedures, establishing resource requirements, monitoring and attending to tasks/ activities associated with performing process control activities on effluent water quality and attending to specific administrative and information reporting requirements and processes Work together with the South African National Standards (SANS) and license/ permit conditions as   prescribed and enforced by Department of Water Affairs and Sanitation (DWS).

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Registered or eligible for registration as Class 3 Process Controller
• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science (NQF 4)
• Certificate: Water Care/ Technology or similar (NQF 4)
• Water Affairs classification 3 (Minimum)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Driver’s license Code B
• Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point, Telemetry systems)
