Process Controller Class 4 (Ref No: IS-TR-PC7 at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• Performs functions associated with Wastewater Treatment processes for the effective operations of Wastewater treatment Plants through analysis and interpretation of requirements and provision of guidelines, planning and implementing process and maintenance interventions, investigating the applicability of changes, adjustments or the introduction of new approaches, communicating and reporting outcomes in order to ensure procedures are complied with and key service delivery objectives are accomplished.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Grade 12, with N3 Water & Wastewater Practice or Core unit Standards from the appropriate NQF 4
• Registered as a Class IV Process controller as per Regulation 2834 or its amendment or eligible Class V

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Valid Code B driver’s license
• Basic Computer literacy
• Basic knowledge of Supervisory control and data acquisition
• (SCADA) system
• Good hearing skills
• Good communication skills
• Good writing skills
