About the Job

Description

Position Summary:
- The Procurement Administrator as part of the Procurement Department provides support services to the Mine which are not limited to identifying materials /resources required on site to be procured, drafting of service level agreements, ensuring timeous order of stock and materials, and tracking orders.
Responsibities:
- Selection of suppliers and contractors
- Determining procurement needs of the site.
- Timeously ordering of stock and material
- Control and monitoring of expenses against budget
- Tracking of orders and following up on delivery times
- Reconciliation of order discrepancies with suppliers
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Certifcate / Diploma in Supply chain
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the mining industry (compulsory)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge and technical understanding of mining processes
