About the role
The MyFarmWeb (MFW) Product Manager takes full ownership of the MFW product from concept to delivery. The product manager is responsible for concept development, product development management, product documentation and managing the development team.
This role involves identifying opportunities and developing proposals for new features, facilitating the product forum to prioritise features, managing the product roadmap, scheduling deliverables for and managing the development team, monitoring deployments, ensuring that the product addresses clients’ needs, and reviewing product performance. The MFW product manager reports to the CTO.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all the various stakeholders. The individual will have good project management skills and be attentive to details. The individual will have experience in managing software development and preferably agricultural solutions.
About the product
MyFarmWeb (MFW) is a cloud-based web platform that allows a producer to capture agricultural information, from the ground to the market, into a system that aggregates and calibrates the data to assist in best practice decision-making.
This product is a partnership with Agri Technovation and Laeveld Agrochem, companies well known for their expertise and specialised service offerings within the agriculture industry in South Africa.
