    Product Manager

    Job Advert Summary    

    • The Product Manager leads a portfolio of e-commerce product capabilities end-to-end, from strategy and discovery through delivery, measurement and continuous improvement. The Product Manager owns the product vision for their domain, making the sequencing and investment decisions that shape quarterly roadmaps, and ensuring the squads they lead are solving the right problems in the right order.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
    • MBA or postgraduate business qualification advantageous.
    • SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PMPO) certification advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    PRODUCT STRATEGY & ROADMAP OWNERSHIP

    • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the domain by translating business objectives into prioritised opportunities, making investment and sequencing decisions, balancing customer, commercial, and platform needs, and using market insights to inform strategic direction and identify capability gaps

    DISCOVERY LEADERSHIP & PROBLEM DEFINITION

    • Lead customer-led discovery by identifying key customer problems and opportunities, using insights and data to validate needs, shape product direction, and define clear outcomes before development begins. Partner closely with Design and Engineering to ensure solutions are desirable, viable, and feasible.

    PROGRAMME DELIVERY & PI GOVERNANCE

    • Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of the product portfolio by partnering with the Programme Manager to shape roadmaps, manage dependencies, oversee PI execution, and ensure release readiness. Drive risk, compliance, and cross-functional alignment to deliver high-quality outcomes safely and predictably.

    COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE & MEASUREMENT

    • Own the product domain's performance by defining success metrics, tracking business outcomes, and using data to guide investment and product decisions. Monitor feature performance, build business cases for future initiatives, provide portfolio health reporting, and ensure product choices deliver measurable commercial value and P&L impact.

    STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

    • Acts as the strategic product lead for the domain, aligning senior stakeholders around product priorities, roadmap decisions, and expected outcomes. Builds strong cross-functional relationships, facilitates decision-making on competing priorities, and ensures clear communication of product strategy, performance, and value delivery

    TEAM LEADERSHIP & PRODUCT OWNER DEVELOPMENT

    • The Product Manager is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of Product Owners by coaching, mentoring, and developing their capability. This includes setting clear expectations, creating growth opportunities, and ensuring Product Owners can operate autonomously with strong problem framing, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and delivery practices. The role also owns hiring and onboarding, establishes product management standards and best practices, and fosters a culture centred on customer value, commercial thinking, and continuous learning.

    PLATFORM INTEGRITY & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

    • Maintain a healthy, scalable product ecosystem by balancing feature delivery with platform investment, continuously improving product governance and ways of working, ensuring measurable outcomes for all releases, and proactively responding to industry and regulatory change.
