Professional Officer- Business Retention & Expansion
Project management qualification will be advantageous
Three (3) years' relevant experience in business consulting, business surveys and analysing data
Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
Will be required to travel to meetings
A valid Code B driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas
Perform business development consulting services by facilitating and supporting the BRE programme and project implementation across the city
Conduct regular research to ensure sufficient data sets are developed and analysed including energy load curtailment and BRE data generated
Direct and advise on appropriate enhancement options to improve the current Business Support Management System (BSMS) to ensure a transversal departmental collaboration
Build and maintain relationships with various businesses sectors and key stakeholders operating in the City
Support the deployment of Investment Facilitation Unit resources to ensure activities and deliverables are completed within deadlines
Support to the effective administration and management of the investment facilitation function
Promote the Investment Facilitation function to highlight its activities and establish a profile for its services.
