A relevant B Tech or First degree in Engineering, Science or other relevant field
Minimum 2 - 5yrs relevant experience in transport data analysis and transport modelling
High level of technical proficiency in data management, synthesis, analysis and interpretation.
Good report writing, presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable experience in the use of computer programming tools
Registration with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer/Technologist or with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) where applicable will be an added advantage.
A valid driver’s licence
Key Performance Areas
Plan and design transport related data and information collection methodology and procedure to ensure data outputs accurately responds to investigation objectives
Lead and conduct transport related data surveys
Analyse transport data/ results and perform a variety of tests in order to continuously update and calibrate the EMME Transport demand model
Provides input into the IPTN System Planning and design processes.
Perform various quality and routine checks data collection methodology and process
Drafting reports, presentations and correspondence containing complex information
