Must have completed matric with at least a 2-year certificate in Project Management/Administration or Finance from a recognised institution; a minimum of 5 years’ working experience managing administrative functions and providing executive support to senior/executive management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the COO’s engagements and calendar.
Liaise with senior management and communicate programme and activity requirements as needed.
Provide line administrative support services.
Develop and maintain office systems for the COO’s office.
Oversee and advise on the flow of information and documents to and from the COO’s office.
Conduct research, analyse information, and compile documents, reports, and presentations, including the following:
Research matters arising from meetings and compile comprehensive briefing documents.
Draft memoranda.
Provide meeting support to the COO.
Screen documents to determine actions required and information to be presented at meetings.
Manage resources within the COO’s office.
Determine budget requirements and collate supporting information.
Record expenditure commitments, monitor spending, and alert the COO to potential over- or under-expenditure.
